Revising
Revising is going over your writing again to look for ways to make it better. Reading what you have written out loud often helps you find mistakes that you may have missed.
As you are revising your writing, ask yourself:
Does each sentence make sense?
Where can I use a better, stronger word?
Do any sentences seem out of place?
Editing
Editing is going over your writing again to find and fix any grammatical mistakes. A good writer follows rules of grammar to share ideas clearly.
Here are some things to think about as you edit your writing:
